Kiwis in Climate (KiC) is global network of climate and sustainability professionals, that I’ve been involved with since 2019 when it began in London.

KiC quickly grew from a kiwi-diaspora group to strong membership in NZ and around the world. Yet it was lacking a clear sense of direction or consistent, structured leadership. So for my post-grad at AcademyEX in 2022, I conducted stakeholder research and developed a Change Strategy for Kiwis in Climate, sparking a period of growth and structural development.

Four years on, and KiC operates with a leadership team of convenors, a non-profit financial model, and a strong brand with periodic advocacy activities and a thriving community, with events across Aotearoa and around the world.

As one of the convenors group, I lead brand and comms for KiC, recently including portrait photography of over 25 authors from around New Zealand, and promotional mahi, for the new Kiwis in Climate book.
